InstaNatural Youth Express Eye Gel, Youth Express Eye Serum and Retinol Moisturizer

For this week's beauty post, I am reviewing a few products from a brand called InstaNatural. InstaNatural is a brand that focuses on creating affordable and high-quality products. They were kind enough to send me a few products to test out. Part of why I like this products is the ingredients in it. It contains more natural ingredients which is always a plus. I have somewhat sensitive skin, so I am always reluctant to try new skincare products. A few years back, I had an adverse reaction to a facial scrub which left my skin inflamed with red bumps that did not go away for 2 weeks. If I do integrate new skincare products, I tend to prefer ones that contain more natural ingredients to be on the safer side. So I do like that these products have that. Another plus is the packaging. The Moisturizer and Eye Gel both come with pumps which is perfect for sanitation and for practical purposes. The Eye Serum comes with a dropper which is also a practical and sanitary way to dispense the product.

Youth Express Eye Gel

The first product is the Youth Express Eye Gel. This Eye Gel comes in an 1.7 ounce size, which is quite generous as many other eye products come in sizes around the 0.5 ounce size. The texture of the product is as expected, a lightweight gel. It absorbs quick under the eye area and leaves my undereye area feeling slightly tighter and plump. The next day, my undereye area feels nice and smooth and my undereye circles seem to be a little less noticeable. I have fairly dark hereditary dark circles and this product seems to help them appear less dark as if I got a good nights rest. I use about a dime sized amount under my eyes after washing my face.  I prefer this product as a replacement for my night time eye cream. This can be used both during the night and the day, but I have found this to be my favorite as a night product. This product contains Hyaluronic Acid which is good for skin cell turnover. Overall, I suggest this product as a good night time under eye product.

Youth Express Eye Serum

This next product is another eye product, but works differently from the aforementioned Eye Gel. It differs based on the ingredients and texture. The Serum is a liquid compared to a gel, and it contains Vitamin C, Caffeine, Hyaluronic Acid, and many other things that are great for your skin. It can be used both day and night, but based on the texture and ingredients, I like this more for the day as it is a little lighter feeling under the eye and keeps from concealer from dragging. The caffeine in the Serum helps to perk up your under eye area which is always a benefit after a poor night of sleep. The product smells like citrus which is always a benefit. I apply a dime size between my two under eyes and massage it in before applying makeup. Overall, I think this is a great product to apply as a day or night under eye product, but I prefer this as a day time product.

Advanced Action Retinol Moisturizer

The last product is the Retinol Moisturizer. This moisturizer is great because it contains retinol, which is great for your skin because it works as  a skin rejuvinator. One important thing to be aware of is sun damage. Retinol products are best used as night time products because they cause your skin to be much more susceptible to sun damage. I prefer to use this as a night moisturizer for that reason. After washing my face, I follow with a quarter sized amount of this moisturizer and massage it into my skin. The next morning I use a daily moisturizer that has SPF to make sure my skin is protected from the California sun. I like the consistency of the product because it melts into the skin fairly quickly which is always good to avoid the product absorbing into your pillow cases which can cause higher bacteria growth.  Also, the product comes in at 3.4 oz, which is quite generous as all the products in the line tend to be.

xx, Lexy
