So I found this item at a CCO, or a Cosmetic Compay Outlet store, which sells brands like Estee lauder, smashbox, MAC and a few other brands. I was intrigued by the item so I decided to pick it up.
Its called "Powder to the People" and was part of the Beth Ditto collection a while back.
The powder contains a matte pink blush, and several little dots. I was perplexed by the dots. From what I understand, the yellow and blue dots are meant to be eyeshadow, the dark brown is a bronzer and the lighter peach is meant to be a highlighter. The coloring goes all the way down. Ive also heard its meant as a blush and you swirl all the colors together.
As you can tell by the swatches, the pigmentation on this powder is terrible. The pink blush is very light, the "eyeshadows" are not as pigmented as your typical MAC shadows, and the "bronzer and highlighter" arent very pigmented either. Also, how would you be able to use such a small dot of product as a bronzer?
Overall it was a huge miss for me. I paid $27 plus tax for it and I feel like I totally wasted my money on it.
What do you think?
