Sephora:
It was a pretty small haul. I got the gifts from the lipstick tree: the achiote collection. It came with 3 full sized products, a 12 hour Amazonian clay blush, maracuja divine lip gloss and a lipsurgence natural lip luster, all in the achiote shade. I love this set. The coloring is a pinkish coral and perfectly complements my tan skin. The blush is so nice because the shade looks like a nude in the the pan, but on my cheek, it gives me the nicest coral color. The lip gloss is great, and the shade is gorgeous, but I have already raved about. The lipsurgence has such great pigmentation because it's not too coral and not to red on my lips. I love it. The only thing I hate about it is that the lusters have little bits of glitter that will feel rough on your lips once the product wears off. In this shade, the glitter seems finer so it's not such a problem. The entire set was $42.I also got an IT stippling brush that was $11 on clearance. Im so disappointed with it. It was a waste of $$$! The brush head is so small! Tiny! and on top of it, the bristles fall all over my face. The only good thing is that the handle is long, so it would be nice for me to do someone else's makeup. But for my daily use, it wouldn't work. Last, since I'm a VIB, they gave me a perk, a free, full sized mascara from stila. It's their new all day wear, waterproof volumizing mascara. I love it! It makes up for the terrible stippling brush I got. I wouldn't say it's waterproof, but it lasts all day and the formulation is really nice. The only problem I have with it is that the brush sucks. It has three strips of bristles that don't do anything for me. I much prefer the brush that comes on my buxom mascara.
Ulta:
From Ulta, I only got 3 items 2 of them were the same. First, I got a benefit set, a deluxe sample of poise tint and a full sized sugarbomb. I initially thought that it would be a nice light pink blush. But on my tone, it does nothing for me but spread shimmer all over the place. Not to happy with it. The posie tint is just something similar to benetint but in pink. Not to happy with it, but it is still nice to have for doing other peoples makeup. Second thing I got was 2 of the tarte blush and bronzer duos. They were $15 each so I thought a second one would be nice as a spare. The blush is in the shade dollface, similar to throbb from benefit. It's a cute color and tiny enough to fit in my makeup bag. Also it came with a tarte bronzer in park ave princess which is a nice shimmery bronzer that isnt orangey. Actually bronze. It gives my tan skin a nice shimmer without looking weird. Overall, I love the tarte duos, not so much the benefit set.
