Drugstore Mini Haul

So I decided to peek into a rite aid and I got some things I have been meaning to get. I wanted to pick up some lip butters but they were out of most colors, so I didn’t pick any up.

1.      Revlon Matte Eyeshadows- I picked up 2 shadows, one in color #1, vintage lace and color #8 aubergine. The colors are pretty. I decided to pick them up because they were on clearance for 75% off, so, normal price was $4.99, and I picked them up for around $1.25. Not a bad deal. They are both pretty matte colors, the vintage lace is a nice beige color, that would be perfect as a corner highlighter color, and the aubergine is a pretty plummy color that would be great as an outer corner color.

2.      Maybelline Color Tattoo: After watching many reviews and reading blogs about it, I have been meaning to pick one up to try it out. So I went in and saw they had restocked bad to the bronze, color #25. So I grabbed one. The color is a pretty brown which reminds me of half-baked in my UD naked palette. The color is great and lasts a long time, I just don’t like that it’s a little hard to apply with your finger because it goes all over the place, but all you need is a q-tip dipped in alcohol or makeup remover to solve that problem. I applied it as a base and put some half-baked on top with some hustle or dark horse in the corner. (been addicted to my original naked palette lately)

3.      Maybelline Baby Lips: I picked it up in quenched, a clear balm that smells like lemony vanilla,YUM! And the color is clear so the perfect to use as a base for any lipstick like my current favorite dream from MAC. I wasn’t sure whether to get peach kiss or quenched, but decided to pick up quench because it would look good under any color, and peach kiss was a nude tinted lip balm. I didn’t want to pick up more than 1 in case I didn’t like them. But I now love them so I probably will end up picking up a few more!

4.      Some random gum and Listerine breath strips- They don’t really count as beauty products, but I just wanted to tell you how much I have been loving the Listerine strips lately. I rediscovered them last week and they are perfect because I hate when people pop their gum in your face and I’m tired of mints, so these strips were perfect to pop in my mouth and keep my breath fresh.
