For this week's beauty post, I am reviewing Valentia's even glow serum. The company was nice enough to send me a one to test out for review purposes.*
What does it do:
The even glow serum claims to even skin tone, increase glow and radiance, absorb rapidly, boost collagen production and reduce wrinkles and fine lines
Verdict:
I found this product carried through on its claims. First, the packaging was simple, but effective. The product came in a white box with black writing and metallic detailing which I find visually appealing. The product itself comes in a tinted glass dropper bottle with the same color scheme. The stopper allows for an easy and sanitary way to get the product out. I used 2-3 drops all over my face and massage it in with my fingertips. I follow this up with my normal daily moisturizer. As for the even-ing of my skintone, I see subtle signs that it has lightened the appearance of the my acne scaring and general skin discoloration. As for the glow and radiance, I didn't notice a huge effect. My skin looks a little more glowy when I apply any sort of serum, so I couldn't tell a huge difference in radiance. As for absorbing quickly, I do think it absorbed fairly quickly compared to thicker creams or oil based serums. Lastly, I can't say I saw major effects on the reductions of wrinkles or fine lines as I don't have noticeable ones yet. As for the ingredients, this serum contains 20% vitamin c which is great for fading discoloration and making your skin appear supple and moisturized. So I definitely think that is a great ingredient to have included. It also contains Sea Buckthorn oil, Hyaluronic Acid and Green Tea extract.
Overall:
I do think it is a pretty good product. I would recommend it. It does follow through on many of its claims and works pretty well.
