Instanatural Dead Sea Mud Mask, Night Cream Moisturizer and Retinol Serum

Today I am reviewing a few other products from InstaNatural's range of products that they were kind enough to send me*. As I've said before, InstaNatural is a brand that focuses on creating affordable and high-quality products.

Dead Sea Mud Mask

I was so excited to try out this mask! I have oily acne prone skin, so I love a good purifying/detoxifying mask to clear out my pores and excess oils in my skin. This mask helped me do just that. I use it once a week all over my face in a thin layer. Do make sure to use a thin layer otherwise it may not dry as it should. The texture of the mask was slightly odd to me, as in something I wasn't expecting. It was less muddy and more gelatinous, which was slightly strange, but it made application a little bit easier. I let the mask sit on my face for about 10-15 minutes, or whenever the mask looked completely dry. It changes from a medium gray color to a lighter gray when it has dried. I definitely felt this mask was doing what it claimed to do. My face felt very tight and hard to move once I got closer to the 10 minute mark. It was bearable, but it was a lot tighter feeling than I expected. Once I washed it all off my face, I patted it dry with a wash cloth and I followed it with a moisturizer to hydrate. I definitely suggest doing it only once a week, as its pretty drying for your skin.

Night Cream Moisturizer

After the mask, or at night in general, I have been using the night cream. It is a pretty good night cream. I do feel like my skin is quite moisturized the next morning and it looks pretty good. Part of the reason why my skin tends to look better is the ingredients in this cream. It contains Vitamin B3 which tends to soothe the skin, and really helps my acne inflamed face calm down a little. It also does contain some anti-aging products like Vitamin C and Rosehip oil. It is always great to begin integrating anti-aging products no matter how young you are, as it can help delay down the aging process. I use about a nickel sized amount for my whole face and follow up with a little bit of eye cream. I really think it has helped with my acne inflamed skin, and I suggest trying out if you are looking for something that can help with soothing it.

Retinol Serum

The last product I have been trying lately is the Retinol Serum. I have been using this before my daily moisturizer and I think it has been a pretty good addition. I should first mention the ingredient list, 2.5% retinol, 20% vitamin C, 10% hyaluronic acid & fruit & plant acids. I do like that there is a healthy amount of vitamin C, but because of the higher amount of retinol, it is important to make sure you are applying an SPF, especially if you plan on venturing outside because the retinol makes your skin more susceptible to sun damage. I use about 3-4 drops and pat it onto my clean skin.I have been layering under my favorite daily SPF moisturizer and it seems like it has been okay for my skin so far. My skin overall feels pretty firm, but I think I would need to continue to test out the product further to see other benefits.

xx, Lexy
