I probably picked up this foundation close to a year ago out of curiosity. I've never tried a benefit foundation prior, and I was really curious to try one. I had gotten a sample of this in my how to look the best at everything kit. I picked up the kit in dark and the foundation was way too dark. But I still liked the foundation. So I got properly color matched and ended up buying a bottle in toasted beige. Since then, Ive been using this foundation every so often when the mood strikes.

I like this foundation because it comes in a plastic bottle with a pump. A major plus when it comes to foundation. Another is the color range. There are a ton of shades, so you will probably find one that matches you perfectly. Also, it is a lightweight foundation, so it won't feel too heavy or cakey on your skin. There are a few cons with it as well. One is that the colors are very yellow based. I have a warm complexion, but the yellow is just a bit too strong for my skin. I wouldn't expect this to be a problem with fair shades or deep shades, but some of the mediums may experience this. It isn't a huge problem for me though. Another is that I feel the need to powder. With some liquids I can get away without powdering, but I feel the need to powder. Also, this foundation takes a little blending, but it will look really nice if you take the time.

Tips:
-- Start off with a good primer to insure it stays all day
-- Blend, blend, blend!
-- Powder a little unless you prefer a very dewy finish.
What do you think? Is it something you would try?
