Havent posted in a while! Sorry! Ive been so busy with school lately! But to make up for it, I have a long post about the subscription services that I have tried over the past year..
Im currently subbed to Birchbox, Beautyfix, Myglam and Little black Bag at the moment. I also do surveys for Influencer Im on the waitlist for cravebox(even though im not really sure if im going to sub).I was subbed to julep, but I prefer makeup over polishes, and julep polishes can be hit or miss with the quality and opaqueness.

I really love Birchbox, so much so I have 2 subscriptions. Its only $10 a month and you get some great products sometimes. I have been subbed since april on my main account and I have gotten a full sized stila bronzer in both boxes and this month I got a beautyblender and stila gloss in both boxes.My first 1 was so so(an intro box in april), my second one was the gossip girl, where I got a full sized eyeko fat eye stick. I am pretty happy with it in general and I dont plan to unsub anytime soon. Anyways, its only 10 a month.
Same with Beautyfix, 2 subs at the moment. I loved it so much I started one sub for my grandmother and she loved it. Its 50 each quarter which works out to around 16 a month which isnt bad. I got so many cool things to play with! I got a full sized stila set and correct (ive been obsessed with stila lately so this really worked out well for me), full sized eyeshadow, full sized skindinavia setting spray( the same company that makes the sprays for UD), 2 Johnathan hair products and some more stuff that I cant remember at the moment. Plus you get a makeup bag of your choice. Also, The customer service is pretty good. I had a broken eyeshadow and they sent me a replacement no questions asked, and when the promo code didnt apply for the second sub, they fixed it for me. plus you review 2 products and they send you a coupon code for $25 off of a $50 purchase, which I used to pick up some tarte blushes from their store, dermstore.com. Overally, I love it and cant wait until next quarter!!!( which is mid-september)Julep is a good sub for anyone who loves nailpolish, and It isnt a bad deal at $20 a month, but I just wasn't happy with the quality of the polishes. I rather pick out a bottle of Zoya( which is much better) for $8 than get a couple polishes that I probably won't use.
Im planning to cancel little black bag, since its 50 a month and not really makeup related. The idea is great, I just dont have the time to trade and some of the items arent as great as I hoped. Its a cool sub where you pick out an item, and they give you a few mystery items. Then, you have the chance to trade these items with other members for 7 days. Its really fun, but it is really labor intensive, and you have to be careful to not mess up any trades!
Myglam hasnt been so great in the past, but these last few months have been better so I decided to jump on the waitlist. I have been on for about a month and on 7/31 I was taken off. So im excited to try out Myglam. I will defintely post up reviews once I get it!!!
