Amara Organics Vitamin C Serum

For this week's beauty post, I am reviewing Amara Organics Vitamin C Serum. The company was kind enough to send me the item to test out for review purposes.*

What does it do:

This serum claims to:
  • Protect against UV damage
  • Help with fine lines and wrinkles with collagen production
  • Improve skin texture
  • Reduce the appearance of uneven pigmentation
  • Provide anti-aging benefits
How to use:

Apply a small amount of the serum to the face, neck and décolleté areas once a day. I prefer applying this during the day, mixed with a little of my favorite daily moisturizer.
Verdict:
After testing this product out for a close to a week and a half, I found this product was pretty good Based on my own under skin, I cannot say that I noticed a significant difference in the areas of collagen production and smoothing fine lines because they are not concerns I currently have. Lately I have been into using Vitamin C serums because of their benefits with fading of acne spots and helping with discoloration. I found this to be on par with other serums I have tried, but much more reasonably priced in comparison. My skin did temporarily feel slightly plump, but I have not noticed along term effect.

Overall:

4.5/5  The product was pretty good!  At the price of $19 for 1oz, I thought the product overall was worth the cost. Based on the price, the results I got and my skin current concerns, I think this product is the works well for my concerns. I see this product being much better suited for those in their 30's instead of someone in their early 20's, who would likely benefit from the ingredients and benefits this product can provide, but I will continue to use this because it is never too early to start using anti-aging products!
