For this week's beauty post, I am reviewing NeoStrata's Intensive Eye Therapy. The company was nice enough to send me a sample sized item to test out for review purposes.*
What does it do:
This eye product claims to:
This eye product claims to:
- Lift and firm the under eye area
- Smooth fine lines and crows feet
- Help boost collagen production
- Reduce the appearance of uneven pigmentation
- Help deflate under eye puffiness
- Moisturize the under eye area
How to use:
Apply a small amount to each under eye once a day. I prefer applying this at night during my night time skin regimen in lieu of an eye cream/gel.
Verdict:
After testing this product out for a week and a half, I found this product was okay. Based on my own under eye type, I cannot say that I noticed a significant difference in the areas of collagen production and smoothing fine lines and crows feet because they are not concerns I currently have. As for the reduction of the appearance of uneven pigmentation, I feel it is on par with most other eye products that claim to do the same thing. I did feel like my under eye area was a little more firm as opposed to no product. I do not often have under eye puffiness, so I cannot honestly say whether or not it does deflate puffiness. All benefits aside, I did find that it was a fairly moisturizing eye cream.
Overall:
3/5 The eye product was good, but not remarkable. At the price of $79 for .5oz, I expected a little more from this product. Based on the price, the results I got and my current concerns, I don't think this product is the best fit for me or my concerns. I see this product being much better suited for those in their 40's instead of someone in their early 20's, who would likely benefit from the ingredients and benefits this product can provide.
