I had cracked months ago and signed up for another subscription service.... This one is called twistclub, sponsored by twistband. If you don't know about twistclub, its a monthly subscription service that sends you around 6 items between hairties and headbands. I first learned about twistbands by getting them on both of my may birchboxes. I got a skinny headband in one and a regular green hair tie in the other. I didnt really care for the skinny headband but the green twistband I loved! Ive been wanting to buy some but they are normally pretty expensive so when I heard about this, I jumped. the reason being that I paid $13.50 plus 3.95 for shipping. The normal amount charged is $30 for the 3 months and 3.95 for the shipping. So I got a steal!!!
The way you do this is by going onto http://www.plumdistrict.com/deals/twistband-15-for-a-3-month-twistband-club-membership-a-30-value-FAFIDc signing up and adding it to your cart. Then, find a promo code and apply it to the order. I found one that is 15% off for first time customers. pay then activate your subscrption on the twistband website.
I have waited until my 3 months was up to do a full review of this subscription service.
Honestly, it isnt a subscription that is worth the money, thats my honest opinion. the fact that 3 months costed me less than $20 and I actually like these twistbands and will probably find a way to screw up making them.
Month#1- I got:
-A set of headbands (The Audrey set http://www.thetwistband.com/head-bands/solids/3-pack/solid-angela-headband-set.html)- retails for 10
- A set of hair ties (Printed Dots Black Hair Tie Set http://www.thetwistband.com/hair-ties/printed-hair-ties/printed-dots-black-hair-tie-set.html) retails for 8
-A single twistband- retails for 2
Total retail value month #1: $20
I really like August's box. I got a nice mix of products headbands and hairties and they were nice neutral color
Month #2
- A single twistband- retails for 2
- A set of hair ties (Solid Alex Hair Tie 6-pack http://www.thetwistband.com/hair-ties/solids/6-pack/solid-alex-hair-tie-6-pack.html) retails for 10
- crayon rings (http://www.thetwistband.com/fun-and-game/fun/charm-school-crayon-rings.html) retails for 6

This month was the biggest disappointment for me. I rould rather of had more twistbands rather than crayon rings I'll never use. The Alex hair tie set is nice because it is a nice range of fun colors.
Month #3
-A set of hair ties (I got the twistaband cares set, but I can't find it on the site now. This is a close one though http://www.thetwistband.com/hair-ties/printed-hair-ties/printed-survivor-hair-tie-set.html) The other one retails for 8
-A set of hair ties (Solid Lucy hair tie set http://www.thetwistband.com/solid-lucy-hair-tie-set-raspberry-ballet-pink-and-cherry.html) retails for 5
-Another set of hairties (Tie Dye Jessica Hair Tie Set http://www.thetwistband.com/tie-dye-jessica-hair-tie-set.html) retails for 8
Estimated retail value for month #3 : $21
I really liked this month. Overall its my favorite. Probably because I like the pink and the tie dye is adorable. Also, the pink mailer and the breast cancer theme is a really good one.
OVERALL: I like getting the cute little mailer in my mailbox, but I just can't justify a $10 a month subscription to them. I have more twistbands than I could use at this point, so I see no point in renuing the subscription. Thoughts?
