Sephora super stars kit

Hey everyone! I've been buying so many holiday kits that its getting to the point where I keep forgetting how many ive gotten! (luckily sephora has a past purchased list lol! Expect a few more of these in the near future!

Todays review is on the super stars kit. It retails for $75, but I was able to pick mine up during the employee appreciation sale for 20% off, making it $60.

 

The first item is the shadow, Its a sephora brand and I actually have one that has the exact same shadow colors, just in a different pattern. The one that came in the kit is the one on the left and the one on the right is what ive had for a while now.

The colors are gorgeous, the payoff is okay, its a little chalky though.

                                          

 

 Next is a Josie Maran argan oil deluxe sample. Its a .5 oz sample, so a really good size to travel with or sample. I like the oil, I currently use tarte maracuja oil for my face, and prefer that over this one, but I really like it as a hair oil. Perfect size for my travel bag, especially since its a multitasker!

This is a Stila stay all day waterproof liner in black (swatches are below) The felt tip is really good for a straight line and perfect for a cat eye! My new favorite black eyeliner! Im a stila junkie in general, so no surprise I liked this....

 

Next is Benefit's They're real mascara. Its full sized! thats about $23 alone! I love the wand of this mascara because its hard rubber and its less likely that you will get tarantula lashes! I haven't tried the formula yet, but after trying badgal, and seeing the awesome wand, Im expecting to love this!

 

 

    
 Next is a Chloe rollerball, This retails for $25 alone and I love that its an EDP, so you know it will last longer because EDP contains more perfume oil than any other perfume. I love the perfume because it makes me feel very feminine when wearing it while not feeling like its overwhelmingly floral. Floral scents normally give me a headache, and this one is amazing! Remember that a little goes a long way with this one because its a EDP. I also love that its a rollerball so I can easily toss it in my purse for an afternoon touchup. Sephora describes the notes as Notes:Pink Peony, Freesia, Lychee, Magnolia Flower, Lilly of the Valley, Rose, Cedarwood, Amber, Honey.

 

Next is the Hourglass veil primer. Ive heard a lot of good things about this primer, and its a little pricey, so im glad I got this to try out. The consistency is a white-milky color that is very watery. I don't mind this primer, but my holy grail primer still remains Stila's one step correct. I really like the packaging though. Its a pretty glass bottle that has a pump!!! And it also is refillable which is perfect for travelling.

 

 Then there is a full sized Buxom gloss in the color Dolly, I really love these glosses in general, and I happened to already be eyeing this color lol. Its a gorgeous plummy pink color that is sheer, yet pigmented enough to be worn alone. Love this over my Nars velvet gloss lip pencil in New Lover.

 

Speaking of Nars, I got a full sized Orgasm blush!!!! Totally excited for this! I already have this in my Joie de Vivre palette, but so its amazing to get this in the box!

 

 

 

Ive been dying to try a MUFE item, and the HD powder is always suggested, so its always nice to get a sample of it! It reminds me of my favorite undereye setting powder, Tarte's amazonian clay finishing powder. They both are really similar though. So you definitely don't need both in your collection.

Last but not least is the exfolikate. I will definitely will not touch this stuff because last year, I got a KVD bag full of samples with my black friday purchase and a foil packet of this was in it. I tried this and my entire face broke out in red, painfully bubbles. It makes my skin itch thinking about it! I would suggest trying it on your hand. and If you try it on your face, the second it feels stingy, take it off immediately, I didnt, and for days my face looked terrible and hurt.
